Thank you for saying this and being willing to listen. The worst one I saw is the load balancer config UX/DX. I use CF's load balancer product for clients and so have to do a lot of setup and teardown back-and-forth. Everything r

Why is this even up for debate? Simplified, it's just probabilistic math being run at an insane scale over a massive data set. Highly recommend people read Irreducible [1] by Federico Faggin (inventor of first commercial CPU; discusses

One of the rare pieces of software that actually gets you excited with each new release. Moved to Resolve from Final Cut a few years back and I've never been happier. Looks like this release just continues the already great experience.

A whole lot of bullshit artists and noise out here now and it's frustrating/demoralizing. You're absolutely right to be venting. Best wishes and hope things work out soon.

This is bad but the bigger question I have is: given this was allowed to ship, what other exploits exist like this across their portfolio?

I did that and it was rough at first. Turned down the internship -> full-time option in favor of freelancing so I could do the level of work I wished. 15 years later...there are good parts and bad parts. Great for focus and getting real

If you dig this idea, highly recommend the Cornell Merlin Bird ID app (likely built on the exact tech used here). Use it on my walks every week and it spots some wild stuff (it even correctly identifies birds who are being mocked by a Mocki

Wrote about what I think is the root cause of all the mania the other day [1]: we're addicted to speed, "moving fast," and anchor it all to a vague sense of "productivity." [1] https://news.ycombinator.co
