Well, I do one hour commute in the morning, eight hours of work plus one to eat, then another hour commute back home, sometimes one and a half if there's traffic. That's eleven hours daily for a job I really like. I would be glad

I think you're right. OOP'ers tend to not understand FP, and when they do get it, they are happy to use it. On the other hand, die-hard FP'ers tend to look down on OOP'ers.

I agree, but it also made me click not because it was a woman, but because it made me think a Nobel prize for math suddenly exists (didn't notice the quotes.) I was actually disappointed.
