For .dk domains they simply disallowed reselling domains. I think this has mostly solved this problem. I think I remember having heard cases where companies would contact domain owners with an outrageous offer and use their acceptance to &#

> Speaking of making code less clear, how is "int list list" not clear? It's an int-list list. As in, a list of int-lists. So of course it should parse as "(int list) list". Why change to backwards annotations? J

It would be `(a(b))(c)`. Interestingly, you're already leaving out parens for brevity.

I would rather say it's OCaml with a different syntax than a 'standalone language'.

At work we have a bitbucket server with 6 users and 25 repositories. We recently switched to bitbucket server a few months ago. I'm sure we will get more repositories in the future. Some of the repositories are just a small collection

You are absolutely right, it's a silly comparison. The Go language spec is indeed vague. I did this comparison a while ago. It wasn't very accurate. The Go spec has probably changed. Unfortunately, it seems they don't keep ol

Rob Pike's repository 'filter'[0] contains implementations of map ("Apply"), filter ("Choose", I believe), and fold/reduce ("Reduce"). The code is an ugly mess, and the implementation shows

The ES6 "fix" is an abomination in my opinion. You're closing over a mutable variable, so you should see the mutations! IMO the real fix would be to write for (var i = 0; i < 5; i++) { let i_ = i; &#x

Just confirmed, calling (loop) will cause a stackoverflow. You'd expect TCO for a Lisp and proper tail calls for a Haskell-derived langauge. loop (fn [] (loop))

This claim confuses me. It's eager, not lazy. And judging from the video presentation, where an incorrect[1] binary search results in a stack overflow, it doesn't have proper tail calls either. This doesn't suggest to me that

I find that french is fairly consistent with how to pronounce written words. It's the other way, how to write pronounced words, that is broken. English is just broken either way, IMO.
