Yeah, I love movies about guys who commit murder, lie about it, come clean only to try to save their own ass, and leave their two kids without any parents in the process. I'll be first in line for a ticket, for sure.

Nice reference. I'll bet you most people (myself included) now assume that disagreeing with someone is not the point of downvoting them. Personally, I downvote when I think something is inappropriate or doesn't add to the discussion (i.e. "

I'm not sick of being downvoted (don't care), but I can't say the same about posts that are nothing more than advertisements for the poster's startup.

You know, I'm not sure if that was meant to be harsh of if you're just joking around, but I don't even care... that's damn funny stuff either way. I know most people don't like the biting responses, but that was gold.

Living with your parents if you're lazy or a freeloader is lame. There are countless good reasons beyond those to live with your parents if they're cool with it. What's disgusting about that? I lived with my parents until I was finished my

I think if you give someone the option to downvote, there are always going to be people who do whatever they want with it. Telling someone not to downvote if they disgree with a well-presented argument is like telling someone not to post cr

If he announced he had cancer, he would be unlikely to leave the company the same day (if at all). It's also not a guarantee that he would die (sorry to be morbid). There is a LOT of additional information that can be provided. He might bea

I totally agree that a story SPECULATING about Jobs having cancer is total crap. But on a slight tangent, I disagree (reluctantly) with his decision to keep it private if he DOES have cancer or if it comes back at a later date. I don't thin

I can understand someone posting an article then other people commenting on why they disagree, but to start a thread just to say "here's another reason I disagree"? I don't get it. Not only that, but saying one sentence (minor at that, in m

Don't like the touch features? Don't use them. It's not like the OS won't work just fine with a keyboard and mouse. Not liking Windows 7 because of a feature you won't even use is like me not liking Office because I only use Word and Excel

Personally, the whole site works better for me without images. I, like most people, make a conscious effort to ignore things like gender and age when I'm reading someone's opinion (here or on any other site). But the fact that I sometimes h

I have a Goldtouch and it's worth every penny. You have total control over the splay and pronation, and it doesn't have a number pad on the right. This was the main thing I was looking for in the first place. I wanted the hand on my mouse t

I think there's a lot more to it than that. As a simple example, you can have the best solitaire game out there and every one of your users may love it, but there is nothing viral about that. Even if you get a great review on a blog and a m
