Except the fact that as I explained to you in another comment this is not true. Businesses are a person. Not the ordinary natural person, but a juridical person

That statement is not so true as you think it is though. Legal entities as companies for example are juridical persons in most countries. This principle is called company personhood.

I would add EventstoreDB (now KurrentDB) and NATS to the list of questionable service providers. The former has already relicensed it's service, and the latter had also intended to do so, they just chickened out after seeing the reacti

If Tahoe made M1 slower then I am sure it was intentional. Apple had done this in the past and been fined for hundreds of millions in different courts all over the world. So I am pretty sure they continue slowing software down intentionally

Apple was fined all over the world for intentional malicious software slowdown by different courts in many countries. Just google "batterygate". At this point this a proven fact that apple had been doing this. I am pretty sure the

You realize that what you write makes zero sense. Those rules will all be there regardless if you generate your code by hand or with AI. So you should ask your god to give you higher cognitive skills instead

Those metrics don't imply any level of productivity though. I could write 1000s of lines of code across hundreds of commits each day without delivering any value to anyone

What pisses me off the most about this, is that CEOs still preach about how life-long learning is a must. Stop that fucking bullshit, will ya? If you as a CEO don't give a flying fuck to invest in knowledge, than you have no right to p

I wouldn't say it's the worst part, but it's definitely a common disturbance in japan that these idiots called bousouzoku ride around in quiet neighborhoods with their mufflers modified that they are screaming as loud or exce

I read this blogpost and I simply see it as a shoplist of pathologies. And even bad at that, because it's only focusing on how these pathologies impact the company bottomline and it doesn't even touch on how destructive this late

Yeah. This is my exact experience too wrt japan! The japanese just somehow can't assess and manage neither the scale, nor the complexity, the risk, the effort or the cost of software projects. Working in japan as a software guy feels l

I asked if you can prove there are 10x or 50x programmers. You shared anecdotes and theories. I will rather wait until you share some evidence.

Mmmmhm. You could have made this argument about 2 years ago, and it would have been credible. But you are making this argument now, when literally hundreds of thousands of engineers are let go in the last few years just in the US alone...?

I think there is no evidence of any type of 50x devs. There is not even proof of 10x devs. So if there is no evidence, why is that not a myth?

My first thought was, even before reading the article, that these cubesats would be perfect for practicing satellite tracking. Lo and behold the article mentions one of my favorite youtubers, Gabe from saveitforparts! I love that channel. I

A bit offtopic. Is it possible to cast these videos somehow from the browser to a TV? I know it's possible to download them, but I am wondering if it's possible to stream them to the TV instead...

I don't understand. Can you elaborate? The Laffer curve simply shows the relationship between taxation and government revenue. It has nothing to do with the policies and the economic theories. In fact, there are two points on both side
