I can tell you that Tokyo is very loud. Constant road traffic noise everywhere, drunk people singing on the streets, pointless warnings from the local municipal office on the public alert system, noisy street advertisements, constant announ

Yeah, that sounds logical. Some of the most popular technologies of this time are just teeny-tiny tools, but some of long obsolete technologies and their attached skills which have no correlation to anything recent is somehow fundamental an

Well, I can see your point, but this assumes that engineers only care about their career and or personal relationships. But I know that many engineers care deeply about a project's success and project goals enough to endure bad leaders

Kubernetes is not a fad. DynamoDB and MongoDB is not a fad. Golang is not a fad. These were all born in the last few decades, so they are rather new, and they will stay for equally long decades. And the list goes on and on... So all of thos

That's a question too generic. But yes, I guess? And people get Nobel prizes to point out that said advances have been causing the downfall of empires and nations.

This is pretty much untrue. Look at India, Africa, South America, Japan, Singapore, UK, Israel, the Arab world, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Norway, Switzerland, or Australia and compared to them the EU is doing just fine

What? You look confused. Empathy and constantly having someone's back is not manipulation. It only ever gets manipulative if you pretend to do these things and then let your peers down at critical moments.

Does this person have some kind of mental issue? I am seriosuly asking this, not mocking him. Because by reading through this post it stands out to me that he doesn't mention or highlights empathy. And that's where his problem ste

What I find interesting is that most Asian countries have top spots, while Japan is still in the 60% range. Why is that?

by rester324 11mo ago
Why though? This is a common problem which only requires one thing: empathy/politeness from the screenshot sender. They ask your for your help and attention, but they can't be bothered to not to waste your time. I think it's

I think slack and other mail/chat clients rescale the image and apply aggressive compression on it. Sometimes they even crop the image or make it so that you need to scroll left and right. Also your syntax highlighting might be annoyin

I think it's very cynical to say that this is a misuse. And it's definitely cynical when this categorization of misuse comes from the service provider itself. If openai doesn't want to allow misuse, they can just decommision
