You grossly over-simplify the problem though of when you're trying to consume part of a monolith without contributing to it. BFF can be a valid approach to making a break. We also have 4 back-end teams and a poor release process, so fo

Canadian universities have all of these. The state pays a big component of their cost with students paying tuition about on par with the numbers quoted above. This seems reasonable; I don't think anyone regardless of program should get

A lot of these questions are well-meaning but clumsy or obvious, or even warnings to a hiring manager: * How long am I expected to remain in this position? => This person will be gone within a year. * What will be my day to day responsib

Employees at my last company complained loudly when the diversity question was asked and the CHRO responded that they didn't collect that info because it was either misleading or of questionable legality. This was by far the youngest &

this is a great strategy. If you really care about your now former coworkers use the opportunity to recognize and promote them. Fixing deficiencies is a job for those still working there, not you.

I'd kind of hope they'd bring it up before the exit interview. If you're only raising important issues on your way out the door it's just virtue signalling to make yourself feel better. Work to fix it or keep your mouth

this is not "with cause" though. They're always free to pay out your notice and have you finish immediately, but you can't be terminiated with cause after you've formally resigned.

Interesting comment, but can you share some first-hand experience where a company spent $10M on a single ad compaign? It is a shit-load of money; anyone saying otherwise has never been remotelly close to anything near 10 million.
