the problem is how integrated it is with everything. it is hard to have a choice in your init(not that there was much a choice to begin with). it takes away from modularity.

aur is a system. you can of course make your own pkg's without sharing if you so chose. responsibility is assumed when using others for any can submit there. that said there are signatures that can be verified ie available.

to be fair i see signal as a alternative to a more secure texting means in presentation. of course this requires data so then there may be better alternatives for sure but what people are used too.

i agree and is a very neutral term for a wide range of disabilities. now cripple would have some negative connotations to it. though i suppose context and use of any term could be used to degrade especially something like this which does po

there are many websites that are fine and good in a console browser. i hear about captchas and such and i never get them but my web browsing behavior may be different. that said i do still need a browser for specific purposes but not captch

well the term is used more liberally now and you will see things like food porn, unix porn. though i think they are talking about sex porn. a actual definition would be a unhealthy or voyeuristic interest in a particular subject.
