I just tried termshark a couple weeks ago. It _was_ just like wireshark, which was nice. However: * There's a "screensaver" which activates after a couple seconds and requires extra button presses to get back to real data *

I think the point GP was making was that you restrict yourself to only the bundled standard library, which covers most of the basics needed for scripting.

I agree, but I've been having a hard time even with python recently. I had a small script (50-100 lines) to format a data drive on boot I refactored, 3 or 4 obvious undeclared variables and who knows how many more I didn't notice

Is that one player per day, or all players complete 1 turn in a day? If the latter, how does that work with player turns needing to be made serially?

I want to believe stuff like this, but the whole field is so mired in quackery and jingo it's hard to believe any of it. A PT with a radical personal theory, plus some youtubers and instagram influencers hardly inspires confidence. A

That's probably true for some uses of logging, but for information about historical events you're stuck with whatever information you get from the log level you had in the past.

Kind of a software question, but why isn't nfc with asymmetric keys a thing? It seems like at best this is a custom javacard app on select expensive cards ($4 per card if you buy 1000 on aliexpress) or $70 for a yubikey otherwise. Is
