Telegram doesn't have E2EE except for 1-on-1 chats where you enable it.

Why does it need augmenting? If a bland list of facts is your report, this should be what is admitted in evidence. Reports don't need to be fancy.

Funny, I developed a similar ping system for Prometheus, to monitor a Kubernetes edge cluster: https://github.com/remram44/prometheus-ping I did rewrite it in Rust (from original Python) over latency concerns from the

And none of it distributed. Ok.

What does "distributed" mean? Looking through your link, what I see is a remote desktop app (e.g. client/server).

I'm trying to understand your point as it relates to the article. I have no idea what your point is.

No that makes no sense to me. Or are we pretending cross-compilation doesn't exist?

Ah yes, my bad, it seems it might only be for the first 12 months then $3.6/mo. Do take a look at the other clouds, Oracle in particular offers an ARM VM with 24 GB of memory for free which is interesting for some workloads.

This is always hard to compare because cloud offerings never exactly match (some include storage with their VMs, some include IOPS with their capacity, some bill bandwidth) but at first glance, their compute is cheaper than OVH and their st

Cross-compilation. There is no requirement of being able to run the compiler on the platform to compile for that platform. It is much easier to add support for a platform to the compiler backend than to write a new, full compiler with its o

The problem with Lemmy is that subreddits ("communities") are tied to a specific instance. So basically every instance has its own separate c/linux, c/funny, c/technology, c/anime, etc. This makes it really har

This makes no sense to me at all. The bus leaves when it is done unloading and loading. There is no question of fairness here, it is not like someone made the fries you were waiting for and gave them to the wrong person. In a network metaph

This seems easily fixable for buses, since they can overtake each other. Once the empty bus is in front, it is the one arriving first to pick passengers, while the full bus empties. In practice I see buses slowing down or stopping to keep t
