Just cause it is a sailing vessel does not mean it does not have an engine. It probably uses a couple of 100 liters of disel to get in and out of port, driving generators and heating the boat. On top of that the sails will degrade with time

Its not actually more eco friendly than placing the cargo on a container ship. The fuel cost for moving one container over the Atlantic on a big container ship is about 30$. A container takes 30 tons. So 12 containers could move that cargo

That is a terrible use of the Mercator projection. The extra distance around Africa looks comparatively small on the Mercator projection.

It will be successful, but Apple won't sell as many units as Meta did with the "quest 2 or 3". It will be successful in the price range where it is located. My guess is that it will even beat the sales quantities of the quest

If you need row level security for some tables you can also solve that with views that are made with the appropriate rows. QoS could be a problem, indeed. If QoS it is an issue in the case one is working on, exposing your data as SQL might

I would say that 3-4 beers several times a week is allot of alcohol. It is an amount where I would definitely start to think that ones life would be degraded in certain ways by the amount of alcohol consumed. Where I live the recommendation

In this case you "observed" the anthill by writing about and describing it. Things emerge in to something. In this case it emerged in to models of the world that exist in mine and your mind. The pattern that was the anthill exists

Yeah, seams like you and I agree. Even if I would not say that "A chair doesn't really exist". But it seams like that was more like a rhetorical argument from you given your last paragraph.

Emergence is simply repeating patterns observed in aggregates. There is nothing that "emerges" in the physical universe, instead things emerge in an observer's model of the world.
