I think social media is great if you mainly use it for two things: 1. as a publishing and sharing platform for your art, adventures, and life events 2. to keep in touch with your friends.

Definitely holds up. Recently I listened to an artist/content creator complain about how other creators were copying their work. That's the name of the game now, anything easily copy-able does not have much value in the digital ag

True, but not everyone lives close enough to work or is in physical shape to bike. Most people should, though :)

Larger community and higher adoption rate among companies. If you run into a weird issue you’re more likely to find someone who’s had the same issue and solved it. There are plenty of established best practices and patterns to follow. Good

There's a fine line between discouraging questions and making sure new people don't waste the veteran's time with dumb questions. I think a lot of people are scared away from the field because so, so many things in software e

This made me come up with a thought experiment. If you sampled a thousand parents and asked them if they think sex offenders deserve a fair and just trial, what do you think the result would be?

Not everyone was lucky enough to have a chill dealer. It reminds me of joe Rogans bit about how in order to buy this harmless plant you have to interact with a criminal. Oh, and commit a crime. Legalization is 100% the right thing. You can

In moderation, maybe. I can make a good case that the greatest movies of all time were made in the 70s because of that freedom. Jaws, space odyssey, clockwork orange, alien etc

What’s bad about a vaccine passport? Do you think unvaccinated people should be allowed to travel internationally? Isn’t that really dangerous?

I read everything about this game I can get my hands on. I don’t fully understand why I find dwarf fortress so intriguing. It’s such a pure passion project… that actually made it.
