That article refers to the iPhone 6 which has only a marginal increase in battery size to offset the extra draw from the larger screen. The iPhone 6 Plus (the one hellweaver666 is referring to) is the one with the much larger battery.

Destroying those components would render the machine useless without external inputs and outputs, maybe their intention was simply just to disable the machine, executed in a rather odd manner.

The article states that the website is back up but as of now 24/07 11:08GMT that is not the case. This is terrible timing for me since I came back from travelling on Thursday and haven't been able to get on with working in iOS 7.

Remember not everyone can afford the latest beast of a machine that can accommodate 16GB RAM, some people still have laptops that can hold a maximum of 4GB by design limitation; it's more likely to be those people worrying about Chrome's RA

Domestic water pipes often have holes in them, relying on the pressure of the water in the pipe to not let any polluted water get in, if the water pressure dropped as a result of the leak then the dirty water can enter the pipes.

On OS X I find safari starts in less than a second, though it doesn't have a full library of addons like firefox. Although FF3 has had a great boost in its performance and load times for web pages, the WebKit nightlies kick its ass IMO. And

Its £1.34 a litre where I am (more or less $10 a gallon) yet public transport usage has more or less remained the same, people have instead opted to just travel less.
