Huh, makes 0 sense to me, blood tests w/o much blood isn’t same as glucose checking, we’ve been able to do that w/o much blood for…a long long time.

The person you're replying to is saying "Sites I use block all VPNs besides Apple's subscription service VPN" - I'm not sure they're not blocking it just because they fervently believe in Apple's privacy c

A guid isn’t a user id, if it is in this case, it’s an abuse of how guid is used, at least colloquially. I haven’t read enough to understand if it is user / machine id, I.e. only globally unique in the sense it’s a globally unique en

You are misunderstanding, and, they are not downplaying. A revision or other reply would benefit from explaining how their value chain x location correspondence is wrong - perhaps missing a step? Though, in anticipation of a revision, I won

My 15 second read of just the front page aligned with you, but when I saw replies pushing back, I went back and loaded News, then cross-verified some of the claims. It's real.

On their API? Almost definitely, China is good GPU constrained. On the technical aspects? Absolutely not, GLM 5.3 is a relatively small MoE.

Bloviating nonsense, 3rd time I’ve seen something like this in HN since TurboQuant came out. You don’t need float32, never did. Source: I’ve been writing on device embedding code for 4 years.

The FUTURES act has nothing to do with LLM development. You’re not being censored, we can read your posts. I generally agree with your views and right to ask questions, but you’re clearly not being censored and all you’ve presented is that

The article talks about how the articles are AI written and written at a super prodigious pace. In an alliterative way, I agree at 50K feet we could say it is the same as putting out opinion pieces. I don’t see any reason it is only notewor

There were 3 alarmingly assertive, not even wrong in the Pauli sense, comments I saw in this thread, this being the last, and it turns out they’re all by you. HN in general gets ahead of its skis a ton on legal stuff, it’s not personal. I

What do we mean by "easy to claim"? It is written by AI. The 6000 commits are by Claude.

I cloned it. The 6000 commits are the problem, not the defense. 5,940 commits, one author, 29 days. 5,067 of them, 85%, have a `Co-Authored-By: Claude` trailer. Busiest day is 1,393 commits, running 60-105/hour for ~20 hours straight.

The project has 2 commits. 2. Commit #1's message is "hey claude, do a breakthrough" from a week ago and is 1.5M lines. Commit #2 is "blog post" from 4 days ago. My head is spinning. I don't mind AI stuff or

Im a bit daft today, getting over strep throat, and this went over my head: is an equivalent to this “Yes, but it’s scary because it might turn from automating voice to no more humans answering ever?”

> Just automate a voice for that and ask them that while they're on hold / when the system first picks up. Is this criteria satisfied if we swap the titular “AI” with our inoffensive “automating the voice”?

No, they did not change the renderer because of Apple. That is a complaint about Flutter, the iOS-aping widget set can't stay up with current iOS, and I don't think they have a real solution yet. There's something about pulli

FWIW, looking at pricing myself, it needs to 5x the tokens to get the same results as GPT 5.6 Luna at a much lower TPS. (doesn't obviate the fact that the pressure causes incumbents to push and push to optimize, thank you Deepseek!)

We have a corrupt Supreme Court that transmutated the Constitution’s “well-organized militia” into “any individual”, combined with that and the Paranoid Style (Richard Hofstadter) of our politics, there’s absolutely 0 that can happen.
