All those things are free in terms of performance though.

Displayport 1.3 which supports 5k 60fps became widely available with the NVIDIA 900 series just 5 months after the 5K iMac released. AMD followed suit 1 year after. They could have very soon added support for it, maybe even launched with DP

I really enjoy Cursor. A bit expensive at 20 USD but still good ROI.

I don't think buying some chocolate bars is such a big deal. Just like buying some Mickey Mouse toy or sticker is fine. And nothing wrong with some entertainment videos, some leisure is good. It doesn't need to be all educational.

It's not just a one time thing. These delays are recurring.

A lot of it is buffering to work around crappy connections. Cloud gaming requires low latency so buffering is kept to a minimum.

Main limiting factor? Hard to know. But throw 100x more compute to an LLM (through an increase of both parameters and tokens) and it will undoubtedly beat current models.

Some games do that (Escape From Tarkov), but it's rare because it's just not worth it.

Most AM5 CPUs have integrated graphics. It's also quite common on Intel.

That's because it NEEDS to be local.

It's pretty nice that a web developer can leverage an offline local LLM, without leaking data, instead of piping stuff through their servers and then OpenAI servers.

Idk about PS2, but N64 (a generation older, much slower) still doesn't have a cycle perfect emulator that runs in real time. Remember that you can't just perfectly emulate the CPU, you must also perfectly emulate the GPU, since th

JS by itself isn't that bad. You could calculate pi digits reasonably fast using JS. The problem usually is: really poor code that is blocking, triggers a million rerenders for every interaction, insane bloat, or just the absolute mass

I haven't experienced such congested CGNATs. And assuming there are people who are under such CGNATs, they are probably used to being rate limited all the time.

Yes, I meant IPv4. And rate limiting is very uncertain. If I limit per /56, users that have an entire /48 can outright bypass the rate limit. If I limit per /48, maybe I'll erroneously limit thousands of users whose ISP

I intentionally disable IPv6. It provides no advantage whatsoever (every user will be able to connect via IPv6) and it adds complexity and security risks, because you need separate firewall rules, dns records, etc for each stack. In additio
