Do you think it make sense to include a character type that is basically a variable-size utf8 extended grapheme cluster?

I am designing a language based on OCaml/Standard ML, what are some of the problems present in these languages that can be fixed by a new design without being constrained by a spec or backwards compatibility?

Exactly. I worked at a ruby shop a while ago and the rubocop lints makes you write code and test less readable than they can be.

Well I hope they release the 5700X soon. I was excited for Zen 3, but their price bump and lack of a middle ground option left me conflicted whether I should shell out more money for a 5800X or get a last gen CPU.

Just read wikipedia. [0] is also a good high-level overview of the different algorithms in metaheuristics. [0]: https://cs.gmu.edu/~sean/book/metaheuristics/Essentials.pdf

Well GP is not random search, but still, the space is too huge for it to find anything of significance yet. I remember reading a paper that trained GP to write a sorting program, that is around the most complex problem we can solve with it

Genetic programming works basically the same as the other genetic algorithms, except that the individuals are variable size programs, whereas GA uses fixed length values like a vector.

Author here. This library is for people who are only using the icons without bootstrap. I know BootstrapVue can do this as well but I dislike pulling in a massive library just to use a few icons. Plus this works with Vue 3.

Slightly off topic, but i7/i9 is in trouble right now against AMD Ryzen chips. Laptops with Ryzen 7 4000H series CPUs are faster and cheaper than top of the line Intel chips.

That's what the government says, but not what they actually do. Here in Hong Kong, police fires tear gas directly into people's (tiny) apartment just for opening the window to take a peek outside.
