I can't speak for the more complex mathematics being discussed here, but I can say with some confidence that there are definitely more people making money on forex related fraud than on forex.

What he did was wrong, but the punishment is not right. We know how the saying goes. The appropriate punishment would have been to force him to clean the chalk off. That's also the appropriate punishment for any vandalism. A written ap

A lot of the major feeds out there don't even return valid RSS or atom. So, the problem begins when you have to start adding heuristics to your parser just to get it right.

The article doesn't say you need to accept yourself as you are. The advice is to be yourself and not compare to others. This is great advice and it's the reason I'm a happy person. The self is a state that can only be observe

Well, I learned vim by building something (using vim). I just sucked it up and ran vim, then ran head first through the brick walls... That was years ago, and I'll never regret it.

Two things: 1. Snowden is capable of lying. 2. The media is capable of misrepresenting his quotes. I simply don't believe them or (him if applicable)

I significantly doubt the premise of this article is true. If you read into Snowden's background, the job at Booz Allen was quite a lucky gig for him. Having no formal education, to include a high school degree, he managed to climb his

I think the act of storing both names is bad, because you multiply the amount of data that could possibly become wrong by 2. With lower(), we can expect we'll get the right transformation of string A each time. If instead, we store str

The title of this article is wrong. That is why you should be scared. 37% Approve. 57% Disapprove. 10% Don't care. That means only 20% more disapprove than approve. 10% of people are blissfully ignorant. 37% are deliberately ignorant.

I salute the cynics. There's nothing worse than throwing good at a bad idea only to one day realize you've wasted your time, money, and effort. If one cynical comment is enough to derail your ambitions, you shouldn't be doing a startup.
