Unless you're doing multicast or anycast, there's a port bound IP handshake that happens. You have your listener (your server port) and the connected TCP/IP client (client port, on the server machine). You're limited to

If you’re running a single machine, you’ll be limited by the number of available ports. It’s a TCP limitation and nothing to do with XMPP. You’d need a cluster of XMPP servers to handle 40M users. Even for just text. Port limits are port li

No but I like what they are doing. Most of my stuff is just custom blender python scripts and a different workspace view. Mainly focused on CSG/Booleans, entity placement, texturing, lighting, and triggers.

I agree with you there. It’s a program that open for at least 8 hours a day if you’re using it. I’ve been trying to work on a simplified UI for blender for level editing (blender is completely extendable) but you still have the blenderisms

Why not publish the changes too? The data of the resulting json can include whatever you wish. That data is your data. So if an app developer wants to include the history of changes, that would be the place to do it. Or link to previous at:

I can see from a new developer point of view, their frustration. Why aren’t things standard? Why not use builtin tags? Why this or that? Valid questions we should all be asking. Sometimes, just because “that’s the way it was” doesn’t mean t

Fiberglass is super cheap and is what most boats are made out of now. Balsa wood core, fiberglass shell. Pennies compared to the cost of a concrete pour. Another issue is that concrete is porous so the rebar inside would rust faster. In the
