This would have the added benefit of being able to describe to the computer exactly what you want to happen and how. Feels like we're onto something here.

I'm not sure I buy the idea that this is a "good" rule to follow. Sometimes maybe? But it's so contextually dependent that I have a hard time drawing any conclusions about it. Feels a lot like "i before e except aft

Given the admin’s propensity for cutting spending on research like this and other domestic interests while ratcheting up military spending I think that poster’s point stands.

I read it myself. But if one person could catch every bug in code then we wouldn't need PR reviews at all would we?

This is where I landed too. Used Cursor for a while before realizing that it was actually slowing me down because the PR cycle took so much longer, due to all the subtle bugs in generated code. Went back to VSCode with a tuned down Copilot

It would be fraud if we were lying about any of it, but we’re not. That’s why we’re trying to find AI use cases instead of just making up some BS.

There’s such an enormous divide between tailoring a pitch deck to the investor to highlight the things they want to see and outright fraud I don’t even know where to begin with it.

Yea that’s the thing we really don’t want to do. We’ve found a couple legitimate use cases, in all honesty. But they’re like marginal improvement type features not industry disrupting features.

That’s pretty silly. Not every business can be started and reach profitability without upfront capital. Even if they did that doesn’t mean it’s bad for a company to take investments to scale faster. Economies of scale are a real thing

Can confirm. I’m at a startup in a pretty boring space and we’re having lots of success just by bringing modern software into the industry, but we’re gearing up for a series A and we absolutely must include AI in our pitch deck. So for th

Agree with basically all of this. The actual protocol of MCP is…whatever. I’m sure it will continue to evolve and mature. It was never going to be perfect out of the gate, because what is? But the standardization of agentic tooling APIs is

This is a great microcosm example of this admin’s whole strategy. There’s some issues with the current regulations. So instead of doing the work to fix the issues, they just abruptly cancel the entire program. Baby. Bath water.
