I’m comfortable with him holding apologies until after service is restored. A lot of IT staff, including myself, woke up to this and are focused on triage and restoration. Once the noise globally has died down then I’ll expect an apology, a

I've been slowly shifting away from cloud connected, wi-fi connected smart home things towards zigbee and zwave. I've had hit-and-miss reliability with them which is unfortunate. Are there any brands you've used you recommend

It seems like a fair statement from the reporter. Unless they know definitively whether the driver is cited or not then the outcome is unclear. That said I hope there are repercussions for the driver

The former owner chimed in to discuss the ownership change and how it was handled: https://surteesstudios.com/a-new-chapter/ I can’t say the software is untrustworthy anymore but the whole ownership change was poorly

None. I’m three years in with mine in Denver so it deals with hot summer, frigid winter, random hail, occasional high winds. I’ve never had to touch it. I wish more home technology was so painless.

I’ve had a Weatherflow Tempest [1] for a few years and love its simplicity. No moving parts, solar and rechargeable battery powered. Their platform is primarily mobile app based but they have a comprehensive API should you want to play arou

I appreciate them not trying to upsell their product, but give what seems like an honest comparison to their competitor. I have a Purple Air monitor and it’s done me well, but it’s great seeing an alternative with better access to the data.

For me it’s price. I’d love to make the jump to a heat pump but local quotes are in the $20k range before rebates and credits. This stings when the same hardware can be purchased for a quarter of the price. I’m all for paying for labor on t

I landed at wanting to work remote when I have clear direction on what my team wants to do, and meeting in person to hash out the big details. The in person bandwidth feels much greater (at least for me). Balancing both strategically lets u

I see any dc fast charger as paying for convenience. I handle the majority of my charging at home overnight at my usual utility rate, but if I need to quickly charge up while on the go it’s a special case I’m ok paying a premium for.
