My favorite question/answer so far: Question: this search engine sucks Answer: Agreed. It dοes less, nοt mοre, than the οld οne. Edited to add I like the concept, I was just playing around with searches. Not trying to be negative.

Yeah, I hear you. Reminds me of Keith Ferrazzi's Holiday card fiasco. Someone got three different holiday cards from him and they all had different signatures, lol. (From Never Eat Alone)

Not really sure how to scale it except to have different people making a few extra bucks writing letters around the country - crowdsourcing type of thing w/o any specialized knowledge.

Aren't payment processors a pain? From my experiences, they make you create terms of service for every web app no matter how tiny. Are there ways around this and what do you suggest?

Why don't you guys use performable or unbounce to test demand before building the product? Do some customer development, see if there's a real need, and see if/what people are willing to pay for what you build. It's really be a waste of tim

I'm fully booked, but I am quite interested in the customer development steps you've taken to validate your hypotheses. Also interested in the changes you've made from you original idea based on what you've learned.

I agree. The margins on this are pretty terrible, and it's not a long term scalable model, but I think it's an easy way to get a foothold in the market. Here's my thinking (please feel free to tear my logic apart): (1a) The very small new

Great points. From lean startups & cust dev principles, I think you should start charging from day one. Well, the margins would come from venture backed startups looking for high growth. I am also a huge fan of lean, so personally, I'd
