The best thing Microsoft could do is to innovate and do something no one's done. Everything they've done of late is in markets where someone has already done very well in, and they've done such a half-assed job of it that it's a guaranteed

Weddings also often require all-day commitments, which is a huge factor in pricing. I am a photographer and make about 60-70% of my revenue from weddings. This is one of two reasons why we charge what we do; the other is the massive whole

There's a roundabout by my business that they put in about two years ago. There's also a large trucking hub that has to go through it to access the interstate. Whoever designed it didn't consider this factor when putting it in, so it's to

The glue on velcro tends to melt and become a very gooey mess in extreme heat too. It wouldn't work well in summer heat.

That article is very much a scare tactic. The actual stipulations listed in Visa's terms do not sound nearly as bad: http://usa.visa.com/merchants/risk_management/cisp_payment_a... While the use of PA-DSS validated payment applications

I would be far more interested to know how similarly "easy-to-read" typefaces fared. Does an androgynous typeface like Helvetica have a different result than one more aligned with a gender? Does one with sharp aggressive serifs like the C

The cable and satellite TV companies are the closest comparison I can think of for an existing example of their dream model. And guess what? The experience is miserable for everyone except those raking in the money.
