What is the point of solving hunger and poverty when we are unable to solve climate change? Having more people and more people who can afford luxuries will only make that problem worse. I know it's a tough argument to swallow, but that

Agree. I have been with AirVPN for years, after having tested many other of the highly rated VPN's. AirVPN has a functional website, works great within my Linux containers and is overall very stable. Highly recommended.

The 160k+ is meaningless when no one is actually using BTC to buy things. Also, not far from the truth anyway: http://www.businessinsider.com/merchants-arent-accepting-bit...

I fully agree, but I just could not get used to DuckDuckGo. It just pales in comparison to Google Search somehow, but I find it difficult to explain why. The same applies to Firefox, I really tried, but especially the extension ecosystem in

Cards are not a pain in general, only on payments above the contactless threshold. And if you're buying something expensive, you likely wont mind the extra minute for PIN and/or signature.

Just move to Europe, you'll be happier for it.

Well, it needs some work, but pretty cool nonetheless, can see where it was going with this :) http://imgur.com/jxsWrEq

So, like a WhatsApp group basically? Being able to send photos to a specific subset of your contacts?

Yes, this ^. I don't understand it either, and I'm not even THAT old. Perhaps you need to be American to get Snap? No clue.

Because first you may think it might be fake due to video effects and not seeing any people. Then you realize it's actually real and end up even more impressed with Dutch innovation!

I don't run my own mailserver, as I said, I use Fastmail with my own domain. Two very different things.

Fastmail is actually an amazing alternative over Gmail. Have been using it for half a year now and will never go back. I use my own domain with it, so even if Fastmail disappears, I am still in control.

The US oligarchy strikes again, even in California, crazy. It works in almost all Western countries. Filing my taxes takes about 15mins each year.

Just move to Europe, where there is still some semblance of reasonable regulations and politics (for now).

I encourage you to try out Firefox Nightly. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Electrolysis has made me switch from Chrome to FF as the experience has improved greatly.

You're living in a bubble. Almost all civilised countries have some form of single payer healthcare with for example required minimal insurance. It's the US that has hyperinflated healthcare simply because you do not regulate.

You made me reinstall FF Nightly after some years of using Chrome. Must say, the speed is so much better than it used to be. I think I will try switch to FF entirely.
