To me this article seems overly negative and pessimistic. You could criticize computers in the 90's the same way. Yes, VR "isn't there yet", but it doesn't mean that it's not fucking amazing. In my opinion it i

Technically you can just swivel chair and a gamepad. That could be enough for like 80% of use cases. You can watch tv in a virtual theater from a couch, you can observe 360 videos/panoramas and play most of the games from swivel chair.

You should probably put "Show HN" at the beginning. Also, it would be nice if the access to the community would be open, or if you would at least give some screenshots and more information about how it looks like and how it works,

Just out of curiosity - would you be interested in open source chat similar to this one, made with pytnon? What would it take for people to switch from IRC to a website like this? Are there some pain points of IRC that can be solved? Becaus

The question is whether it is the kind of community that should exist, that you want to be a part of. And the answer is - no, it is not.

We already have plenty of secular communities. Hacker News, sports fans, standup comedians, book clubs, students in college, nerdfighters, groups organizing around hobbies and interests, groups of friends. Community forms not because religi
