The problem is, if we can't see the the whole page, we don't know if the page displays more info than what's in the screenshot when we scroll down. Turns out, there's not much, at least in the sample page that another us

If you're interested in typed APIs, also check out RESTyped: https://github.com/rawrmaan/restyped It's an end-to-end way to type check REST API calls and responses using TypeScript.

This could really use some better sorting, like by product category. It's currently a nice monument but not actually useful.

Just played with this for my app's description and it's pretty amazing. Definitely recommend.

Agreed. I tried to switch to yarn a couple times now and it simply wasn't reliable (though the last attempt was a few months ago)

I’m seeing a lot of hate in this thread. I think we tend to lose sight of the fact that things don’t just _happen_, people make them happen. GitHub has absolutely earned its dominance in my eyes, and although it may have shortcomings, I thi

WeWork's achilles heel IMO is that they disincentivize non-VC funded companies from staying for more than a year due to their 70% first-year rent discount. We at Habitat are moving out of the WeWork Philly office after just a year beca

I wonder how it feels to be running or working for a company that develops a product that almost all informed members of the developer community think is bad. They must be in some serious denial.

I guess it depends on how you define simple. To me, React is far simpler than jQuery because of its declarative nature. It’s simple to reason about and easy to maintain and change. I would say it’s a much more straightforward tool than jQue

What's everyone favorite library for doing Postgres migrations using node? I'm using knex.js and still doing migrations mostly by hand.

The abstraction issue you're talking about doesn't exist. You can always drop down to custom native components for anything you need to do. That's one of the best parts. I spent 5 months rewriting my game Falcross from Obj-C

I don't have an app big enough but to necessitate the product yet but I've been following Citus' progress for a long time and I'm always impressed. Today is no exception! Can't wait to have a reason to use it.

Interesting that this has nothing to do with ride sharing (or at least the article doesn't cite that as a reason). I think autonomy and ride sharing will drive used cars nearer to the value of scrap metal within the next 5 years.
