Currently there are no VR porn games for female either. And it's not because it's not fun for them (NSFW): https://vimeo.com/198344395

The blog post specifically mentioned Program Synthesis which is exactly what you're talking about. The article they published was called Neural Programmers but I haven't read it: https://arxiv.org/abs/1511.048

I don't think anyone is thinking of training on GTA then reusing it on a real car. It's just a convenient way to work out the algorithms and architecture in a controlled way that might then work out with the real world data. But I

15 mins of human labor per test doesn't sound cheap but I guess you can get the patient to do it themselves. A bit curious, why is a cheap centrifuge hard to build? It seems like a pretty simple device and motors are pretty cheap.

# WebRTC P2P communication (data, video and audio). Almost ready except for safari. # WebBluetooth Very experimental but some of the demo projects are really cool (control an AR drone quadcopter from a webpage).

The prisoner's dilemma linked to in the article is usually the go-to demo since it only has 4 outcomes. The nash equilibrium would be for both prisoners to deflect but this is worse than if they both stayed silent. Both staying silent

I thought it would be more of a joke article: 1) Start with DNA in a primordial soup 2) Wait ~4 billion years 3) An intelligent lifeform will create an A.I. that can solve it

I wonder why they don't make the statements more granular. Then when you update all other canaries but not a particular one you know for sure it's not due to forgetfulness and you get more information about what happened. Or does

How does that compare with https://clara.io ? I thought that was made by one of the core contributors of three.js (bhouston). I don't use web editors for 3d so I have no idea, just curious.

Can you explain how you use the vantage tree? What are you storing/searching for? What error metric are you using for matching? I think you briefly talked about using heading change and distance for encoding your polyline. So if I unde

Is this probing scheme better than cuckoo hash? Also, Java hashmaps also used to use separate chaining but switched to using redblack tree for each bucket[1]. The main reason was to prevent attackers from choosing worst case inputs where ev

Maybe CG will be good enough to keep casting dead actors? The face2face[1] tech looks pretty convincing to me and it already works in real-time (which isn't necessary for films) and you have plenty of old footage of them. [1] https:&#

B-trees, LSM trees, or any data structure that's actually designed to be cache friendly. I think his claim that his optimizations can beat a b-tree is bullshit otherwise he would've shown benchmarks.

Xcode has a disassembly view that's really similar (and works with lldb!). After moving back to linux I haven't found a replacement ide that's as nice for doing c++ development.
