The current government is heavily favouring the export of primary and finite resources. If people from other countries really want Brazilian economy to get off the ground, they should want Brazil to export processed and manufactured goods,

As someone born in Brazil, I'm tired of this condescending bullshit. There are several economically viable solutions, but Brazilian government should be interested in pursuing them, rather than only pursuing things that only benefits t

Yeah, definitely that. To see pictures of the places in Google Maps or Search it takes several clicks, and I can't compare them side by side. Some are obsolete. Lots of pictures I don't care about added by business owners. Not rea

That's quite easy to do with Amazon S3. Maybe Google could just use AWS since implementing this feature seems to be a bit complex for them. /s

Funny, I was duped once into coming to a Herbalife-similar Multi-Level-Marketing introduction meeting by a university colleague (we both did EE). He called some other people from our class saying it was a "business opportunity". T

Yeah, I entered the industry a decade after you but I share the same views. Back then teams were so much smaller and management actually took care of the bureaucracy. I remember at one time I ended up as the sole developer at a university,

Yeah, for your mother definitely makes sense to already have more than one weekly phone call, but I was thinking about other family members. Reading your post, it seems Facebook is a bit of a recreational activity to keep them sharp and soc

My family replaced FB with WhatsApp. So have most of my friends (although with friends it's mostly Signal). Sure, it's a completely different kind of platform, but it serves well. People post their travel pictures there, people as

This used to be the only truth, and is definitely a fact for purists or vintage collectors. But especially for working musicians and non-collecting producers the tide is turning: they want to have their cake and eat too. Which means new syn

Yes. We use null-cancellation very often as a production/engineering tool, not only as a “test”, so it has to be, otherwise our tricks won’t work.

Gonna agree with the other replies. That’s definitely not the case for music production. We even use special drivers on some OSs, bypassing the slow paths, and we’re very particular about gain structuring, signal path and everything around
