Yang doesn’t have a snowballs chance in hell. He’s posturing just to raise his own public profile.

I don’t believe this. The GOP is desperate to discredit him because he puts Texas into play a couple years early. This smells like a weak hit job. I’m not sold as Beto as the candidate but this is a weak meme. 2/10 be best.

I mean, they're owned by Tencent and have zero experience with this outside of Fortnite. Pretty much what I expected to happen (not this specific gaffe but in general). About what I expected. Say what you want about Steam but they made

Antitrust was the first thing I thought of when I saw this. Doing it automatically based of statistics would work toward that end as well.

This, fastly makes this easy to do as well (I don't work for them, just use the product). Maxmind dbs are... awkward to get access to. They are expensive as hell if you buy them directly but usually built into edge service products. F5

I had not great experiences with ZFS on Linux. Like broken for a month on a standard distros kernel type issues. For personal it’s probably fine but I wouldn’t use it in prod again.

I blacklist Vultr/choopa in every environment I manage. They make zero effort to deal with botnets and bad actors. They are the first org where I went to the trouble of blacklisting the ASN so new ranges get blocked as soon as maxmind

It's certainly an, "Okay, in that case I'm leaving," offense. If your manager gets pissed off about that leave. IT can pay well but not that well.

It's bottom heavy because IT in 2019 is a joke. I left as soon as I could for operations and security. Better hours, fewer people, better pay, and I don't have to give a shit about your laptop. If you don't want to pay to kee

I'm fine with this if we get medicaid for all. This won't be an issue if all the 1099 workers did't have to take a 30% pay cut (or negotiate for 30% higher wages, I'm ignoring the tax issue of course) to be healthy.
