That seems like an interesting idea. I am also trying to see about not having to waste any time on non-major subjects. This is a horrible thing. I understand and agree with the idea of general education. That should happen in high schoo

> CS is way more than just programming > thinking you can do it without spending time and effort on it is naive Well, yeah. I am not a 22 year old. I'm nearly 60. I have been developing non-trivial hardware and software for de

That wasn't the question, or intent. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. The idea is to knock out as many credits as possible through examination. Not the full degree.

How difficult is it to convert Bitcoin to conventional currency? That has always been one of my hang-ups regarding crypto. Also, I take it people can't pay you with a credit card if you use BtcPayServer. Right?

Will do. Looks interesting. Thanks. A friend of mine, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer, went through a radical change of diet. This included juicing lots of vegetables and cutting out most meats. He thinks the dietary adjustment pl

Yes, this is a sobering diagnosis. And it has spread to the liver, which likely means the prognosis is far worse. I take your point about quality of life for what might remain. These are tough decisions those of us around her are going to

I have a 15 year old Windows 2000 machine running a PCI based piece of test equipment. No problems or performance issues. It has not been on the network for at least 10 years, if not 15. On the rare occasion a data transfer is needed it&

Another aspect of this question that hasn't been explored is that of scale. What I mean by this is that one can do things with $100K or more that are impossible to do with less capital. For example, buy four container loads of e-Bike

I think the error here is in thinking, well, inside the proverbial box. My question is serious an does have lots of valid answers. For example, I did not say the answer had to be a passive investment. Flipping homes could do very well giv

So far the best answer to my question seems to be flipping real estate, in which case losing 100% (or any) of the investment is highly improbable.

In speaking with a local realtor he showed me a few examples where clients flipped properties within 90 days or less and came out $100K ahead or more. Provided there are no surprises this seems like a solid option.
