He did a similar talk at Startup School 2007 (I think) where he showed how relatively dumb algorithm can build a database of simple facts. It worked very simple: crawl a TON of web-based text and look for patterns like "XXX such as AAA,BBB

I avoid FB connect - sites/services I try don't need to be linked to my identity on Facebook, that's just too private, sorry.

Is't MySpace closely tied to music preferences? Maybe a few influential bands heavily invested into MySpace presence and their audience happened to be black?

But why now? There must have been a good reason for Sun to continue developing their own UNIX variant. I can understand the value-add coming from ZFS, but why having to maintain your own kernel? They could have built their own Linux/BSD dis
