You can use the Firefox widget to provide a search bar and set your search provider in Firefox to Kagi. I assume you could also do that with chrome.

It's alot more convenient then wine as it's built into steam. You could get a lot of games working on wine before but setup could be a bit of a pain. With Proton you just install and play on steam like you would with a native Linu

I think the main selling point would be that it uses a new Desktop Enviroment, Nomad. I don't think Nomad comes default on any other Linux distro.
