No Mearsheimer just extremely conceited to the point he refuses to admit how dead wrong he's been about this whole thing. He actually said that there was no evidence Putin was an imperialist during a debate(the audience laughed at him)

No just no Our dedication to protect our ally Taiwan has nothing to do with Silicone and neither does China's nationalist obsession over it. If it comes to war, chips will play no role

No you massively overestimate the importance of economics or semiconductor industry. Whatever will happen to Taiwan has nothing to do with Chips. For China it's about nationalism, for US it's about protecting allies/upholding

A bunch of conspiratorial nonsense. We didn't ferment it and it wasn't a coup. The Ukranians weren't happy that the president was killing protesters. Why do these things always pretend that Ukrainians don't have agency?

Not really because there's no way that Ukraine is going to allow these areas to remain in Russian and hands. Especially given atrocities they've seen in places they've recaptured. Especially since they're clearly winning

I wish more people would do that. Reddit used to have that stupid 6 month limit on threads making it difficult to reply to someone saying something 4 years ago. They also need better tools to keep track of replies to older comments.

With electricity What a silly comment. The switch over to an electric cars is a multi year process that will take at least until 2030 just for new cars. The current problems won't last nearlt that long

Generally rust prefers to keep things out of the standard library because it's hard to change/improve a standard library. They try to give enough useful stuff and then leave all the other stuff to easily downloadable packages.

It would be absolutely insane to link overturning Roe to Reid's decision. Everyone already knew McConnell would have gotten rid of it anyway the second a supreme court justice was fillibustered. Look at his actions in the Garland and B
