Back in 2001 Nvidia GPUs topped out at 64MB https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce3-ti500.c741 but that didnt stop vendors from offering bottom of the barrel low end models with very same 64MB https://

Reviewers were told the only way they could get access to working 5060 driver was to test selected few games using bizarre settings of 720p upscaled to 1080p with Multi Frame Generation (3 fake frames in a row) with powerful CPU against 206

What would you believe is true, a court documents or a PR piece on the cover of TIME? No doubt that quote for the press was part of the settlement, just like Microsoft pledging IE/Office support for 5 years https://en.wikipe

TLDR: Nvidia stopped making GPUs faster at rendering graphics, all effort goes into AI. Nvidia wants reviewers to start lying to users by citing AI Multi Frame Gen FPS, new Nvidia Frame Gen hallucinates 3 frames every 1 real frame.

The way Amiga was build, graphic subsystem being its own thing with CPU clued on the side, swapping CPUs would be the easiest task. Even the slowest available RISC CPU would emulate <1mips 68000-7 above real time speed with ease. PA-RISC

Commodore wanted $1000 for a 1985 computer combined with single speed CDROM barely able to play 160×100@12Hz CDXL video and called it multimedia! It cost less to just buy external SCSI CDROM and SCSI controller + A500. Playstation was a $35
