Is there a git repo anywhere, out of curiousity? (Perhaps I'm being blind?) This looks interesting..

Insert Obligatory 'Diamond Age' reference here. EDIT: Yes well for those who haven't read the book the reference is to the sexual transmission of data. Implied (but not confirmed) by nano-tech, however no implementation detai

Nice! Please do alert us when it appears on github. I'm sure there will be interest. EDIT: In fact if you can announce your github id now/soon people can start watching in earnest.

Yeah, I'm with you on that TBH. There's nothing like a good bit of condescension from a developer to really win over their users. It was sad a few decades ago, and it's still sad now.

This is a great tutorial, although the one complaint I had was the errors in the pdf version (can't remember the specifics).. took me a while to realise the html version was far superior. Regardless of my complaints, it was an interest

I think things will get more interesting when Oculus, Meta, Magic Leap and others get a little bit more entrenched (ass-u-me'ing it happens!).. give it another 10 years or so.. ;)

Someone endowed of clue should get going with a kickstarter for at least a film version of TDA, if not a lot of what was described therein :) Damn, I'm going to have to read it again now. Still, it's about time for a refresh...

Have you not read 'The Diamond Age'? IMO it is one of his best works. Nanotech/Networks/Crypto for the masses to understand. I read, loved and was caught up in the VR fever of the 90's via Snow Crash, and love his o

Some quite delicious Cheeses contain mould :) (although once, many years ago, I did do a blue cheese sauce to a meal, and gave myself and my wife a spectacular night and next day of... ejecta . Never going to forget that experience :( )

Did you ever catch a look at (or play with) OpenCroquet (which then morphed into OpenCobalt and... kinda stalled, from what I can gather). Croquet was this (but without the Oculus) in 2007. I miss it, but it went nowhere, but.. that's

I'll have to set something up that actually uses cgi-bin. However, my load-balancer would still kill the request, I suspect. (EDIT: Sorry.. my point being; your site should probably class 400's as 'safe'?)

When the system you're testing replies with a '400 Bad request' (as mine do ;) ), you're probably in "safe" territory, no?
