Good old Hypocrisy, the Human Race's favourite past-time. I'm not saying the article is hypocritical, I'm observing the greater issue here. Sad, but true.

Would it not just be simpler and cheaper for the FBI and DOJ to print a flyer that says: "You are all under arrest, on suspicion of Terrorism. Report to your local Police station for processing." I mean, really - what kind of insanity is be

Heh, I started watching the video and after about a minute of so was thinking "this sounds like COH" (aka Ivan Pavlov). More to the point, this environment looks fun (for those of us that class our fun as being of the TV noise variety :) ).

With respect, "The Internet" also exists beyond the borders of the United States of America, so while we outside of the US can look on at this spectacle with a mixture of amusement and dread, it's just a little galling to be told to underst

I think you are correct here. EDIT: However it has been shown that some of the content companies have been less than diligent in their issuing of takedown notices. This could easily backfire on them..

IIRC, there are people talking directly to InnoDB (MySQL backend) using it as a NoSQL style DB. You don't however get SQL analysis, you're bypassing the SQL side of things.
