I would personally find that super convenient as well, but I was surprised to learn that the accessibility story in Linux for blind users was actually in quite a bad state. I thought that text based interfaces should be great for accessibil

I wonder, would there be an opportunity to flush any substances down the toilet, at that point? Sounds like a potentially terrifying situation, considering the number of stories I’ve heard from friends and family about accidentally flying w

Name aside, I really like the concept of liberating various websites’ functionality from HTML and the web browser platform. That feels like the dream of the old interoperable web and it aims to make life easier for blind folks which is cool

I believe that people who claim to be mad at Chinese human rights abuses are mostly genuine in their feelings. They also have a blind spot for the abuses of their own country and their allies. That blind spot probably comes from the part of

The US has certainly lost a lot of moral standing, and yes it makes it harder to criticize others, and it strengthens autocratic hands abroad to be able to point to the US' failures. That said, the parent poster isn't the US gover

Regarding your first point, yes, that’s an interesting take. Regarding the criticism of the US, yes you’re probably correct, but this is a “what about” argument that doesn’t really aid the discussion in my opinion.

There’s a nice example of someone coming up with a good UX for this game, in the form of an iOS app that lets you play against a remote instance of DF called DF Remote ( http://mifki.com/df/ ). I learned about it here on

Maybe I'm mis-reading it, but it seems that your comment is just a re-statement of what your parent comment is replying to. It’s like, “Why A” “Because B” “But why A?”

Anecdata, but I had a Dell xps 15 with discrete nvidia graphics. Similar numbers to yours. For my next laptop I got a Thinkpad X390 and this little 13" laptop gets about 4-6 hours on linux, without any tweaking.
