The problem with Reddit is that it does not localize content, only the interface. It should be either both or none. Google, on the other hand, not only shows you German interface, but also significantly adjusts search results depending on y

On an unrelated note, I hate it that reddit (where content is not localized) defaults the interface language to that of my OS (why would I need that?), while most websites of multinational corporations (where all content is localized and

How is shouting threats on Twitter fundamentally different than calling the airport or going there and shouting the same words there? I don't think it would be OK if I emailed TechCrunch and threatened to kill them all if they don't sto

I don't know about the US, but here in Moscow/Russia terrorism seems much more organized. We don't have amateur school shootings, we mainly get train/subway/plane bombings. In the past we used to have whole buildings demolished by bombs. Ap

It may be unstoppable in the long run but it's far from prevailing. ICQ is in no danger of extinction in the coming 5-7 years for sure, especially with parters like Yandex and Rambler. And, well, network effects, you know. Most normal* web-

Usually, OEMs pay Opera to have it preinstalled on their devices. That's obviously not the case with Apple...

Yet there are now a lot more incremental advances per year than 200 years ago. Revolutions can only happen only so often. Apart from that, an "average technology" today has on average much more applications than back then, IMHO (convergence
