I suspect there's a lot of nuance you can't really capture in a study like this. How you use AI will depend on the model, the tools (claude-code vs cursor vs w/e), your familiarity and process (planning phases, vibe coding, e

This is the real problem. Every house has 2+ cars with one parked on the street, which results in no visibility to avoid kids.

I'm exclusively using sonnet via claude-code on their max plan (opting to specify sonnet so that opus isn't used). I just wasn't pleased with the opus output, but maybe I just need to use it differently. I haven't bother

This is what I was thinking. Eventually most new material could be AI produced (including a lot of slop).

OpenAI wants AGI, or at least something they can argue is AGI because it changes their relationship with Microsoft. That's what I remember, although I don't really stay up to date ( https://www.wired.com/story/

In this case I don't think the controller needs to be the smartest model. I use sonnet as the main driver and pass the heavy thinking (via zen mcp) onto Gemini pro for example, but I could use openai or opus or all of them via OpenRout

Not sure that this is true. Are there a lot of people waiting anxiously to adopt the next model on the day of release and expecting some huge work advantage?

I'm not sure the major models will remain at $20. Regardless, I support any and all efforts to keep the space crowded and competitive.

It's allowed me to be even more of a perfectionist. I'm quite enjoying it, and I review and revise everything that's produced line by line. I doubt that's the commonly desired outcome, but it is what I want! If AI gets t

I’m not knowledgeable of this incident, so let’s assume I accept your argument that it was the drivers fault (seems likely enough). Are you also arguing that Tesla didn’t withhold data, lie, and misdirect the police in this case, as the art

I didn't use the word "problem". In fact I presented no opinion at all. I'm just pointing out that scale matters a lot. In fact, in tech, it's often the only thing that matters. It's naive (or narrative) to thi

That's probably why "old money" doesn't like "new money". New money is crass, loud, and obnoxious. Old money knows that it's best to keep to the shadows, at least until one of their idiot kids ruins it. I

It's all about scale. The impact of your personal shopper is insignificant unless you manage to scale it up into a business where everyone has a personal shopper by default.

A decent chunk (more than 1/20) account shared netflix. Also there are probably some who are account sharing with more than one other person. I don't really doubt it.

I think you'll want to specify your /model to not use opus. Strangely unintuitive, but I opted out of opus on the max plan myself and aren't really having any usage issues since.

NVidia is the exception in this space. They legitimately found the free money printer. Everyone has to buy from them for now. Meanwhile most of the AI software players aren't turning a profit yet. It's all been priced in though.

My only point, without discussing policy at all, is that it's a cult of personality, with all that entails (not good). I think a failure to recognize this as either naive or intentional.

I’m having a good time with claude and Elm. The correctness seems to help a lot. I mean it still goes wonky some times, but I assume that’s the case with everyone.

I currently use claude-code as the director basically, but outsource heavy thinking to openai and gemini pro via zen mcp. I could instead use gemini-cli as it's also supported by zen. I would imagine it's trivial to add qwen-coder

The issue with launching a search engine company is probably mind share more than anything else. Once Google was a verb, it was pretty locked in. Even so, there are alternatives that some people use and find superior, like Kagi and DDG. Now

Well diminishing returns will have the same effect as a plateau. If you're on a log with your (much cheaper, Chinese) competition, then your advantage is very quickly microscopic.
