Yeah, line numbering is tricky. That's why we hide the numbers when you click -- it's a mode that's built into CodeRay. Note you can still just paste github gists on their own line and we expand those too -- so that's still another option.

Organizationally it is a mindshare problem. Every successful tech company faces this. Windows Mobile was always the 'little brother' of Windows and Office, and could never get the kind of resources and talent needed to win in that space. Go

Kickstarter is a great thing to push people to get things done that they might not otherwise do on their own. YC is a great way to kick your startup into high gear as well. But that's where the similarities end. They are not substitutes for

We would love to be able to put the full blog post title in there. The Facebook Stream API limits what we can put in that space. I think this is a good candidate for an advanced setting. For other autopost sites we allow customization here.

Other themes have less obtrusive versions with transparent logos. Most people end up leaving the basic theme because that's what simplicity is about -- reducing the number of choices. People who care a lot can change it. Most people don't c

Sorry, I probably meant novel. What's novel vs. what is actually useful. Self expression is useful, and it comes in all forms. Cool quotes and funny photos are the social-media version of PowerPoint -- a limiting medium that squelches highe

Did you know we support embedding Github Gists? Just paste the gist URL and we do the rest. Markdown etc has been a much-wanted feature, even for ourselves internally. We try to focus on normals as much as possible, so it hasn't hit the top

Thanks for your suggestions. We're working hard to get better every day. There is obviously a lot of work left for us to do, but that's what helps us jump out of bed every morning. I agree short quotes, clips and photos are fun. But it's no

Interesting artifact: Amnesia is one of the hippest live venues / bars in the area, kind of ground zero for Mission hipsterdom. That it now has the art of Banksy really only elevates it to new echelons of cool never before seen this side of

Wow, this is an awesome service I wish I knew about previously. Are there open source alternatives? Our full suite can take considerable time to run, and it would be amazing to reduce that time.

That's the beauty of the Canon 5D Mk2 -- off-the-shelf easily available Canon lenses. They're lenses most photographers already have. And no additional work to make them work for film. A decent L lens is $1000. Not bad at all.
