I am happy this was brought up. I have been approached by companies to add in "SDKs" of this sort. They usually offer to pay you per user. When you have scale, these companies while the app is open can scan for other media they

There are huge issues with current tech and death. Basically. If you die: 1) Your family (might) need your bank info, passwords, insurance policy information, asset lists. They are all doing this, while, their favorite tech guy... is dead

I was in gaming for 4 years or so. It was horrifying to see how much code that is not reused (excluding math/physics libraries). IMHO - The art pipline is the real time suck and can make or break a game deadline. Just think of the

Studying a language is probably the worst way to learn it. Languages are so simple to pick up these days: stackoverflow, teamtreehouse, git, etc. Latch onto a fun project with a fun mission, learn languages on the fly, and finish it. In a

You are totally correct. They avoid conflict. If engineers are told at the interview - "Your salary will be this, it will be posted online for all the other employees to see" I suspect the engineer to not be there Monday.

Posting your company salaries does a few things: 1) It promotes mediocrity. 2) Creates a political cesspool. 3) Ties the hands of hiring team. 1 - Excellent people want to go places where they can make more. When excellent people learn ab

I was there hacking in the beginning. With the Eris S, roger dickey, neil, kenneth, etc. They entered into a market with free users and based their predictions on this. FB cut them off by limiting the virality. That was game over 2012. (M
