lmarena.ai is also pretty good. It's not mac exclusive, works from the browser and has a bunch of different AIs to choose from. It doesn't keep a history when you close the tab though

Most people are concerned about privacy on a social networks that farm your data, they already know who you are the moment you upload a photo, write something mildly descriptive, or do just about anything else on social media. If you want t

If your pages depend on data from APIs that are not globally distributed, having an edge runtime can be worse. Specially when dealing with non distributed databases.

Cdktf is good, but it's not amazing. You are still constrained by terraform syntax like `count = condition? 1 : 0` , instead of doing a normal` if` statement. And there's a fairly good amount of times where you need to use terraf

I've never tried nixos, but I'm very close to trying. For me the good points are what you said + having the full configuration of my system in a single place (no more looking at the bash history to understand what I did) and easy

Looking at Zen's landing page, Zen seems to have more of a focus on visual customization, whilst Librewolf is just Firefox with better privacy. Personally I've never felt the need to customise the visuals of Firefox, so I'll

Does the usb c support displayport alt mode? How's the performance compared to a Linux vm running on a pixel 9 with kvm? Android 15 recently released, which brought support for graphical acceleration inside the vm, so that's one c

I've seen this claim a few time across the last couple years and I have a pet theory why this isn't explored a lot: Nvidia funds most research around LLMs, and they also fund other companies that fund other research. If transforme

That's exactly what I was going to mention. I'm waiting for android 15 to be released and for people to test hardware acceleration support. If the overheating problems are fixed, I'll get myself a pixel 9 XL (for the bigger b

All European tech companies I know compensate fairly well for oncall. There's a rate for simply being on call (you'll get paid extra without even getting any calls), there's a rate that gets summed on top for actually working

I had a feeling TDP was not the correct concept here, alas it's too late for editing, but the point still stands. Appolagies for the confusion. As for where I got my 8W figure from: > All of the chips except for the Core Ultra 9 def

Indeed, but a win on the cpu power consumption is a win, regardless if you have other stuff sucking power or not.

8w vs 5w power would make your battery time jump from 12h to 19h. When looked at alone 3w difference is not a lot, but in the context of 8w to 3w, 3w is an improvement of around 37% (if I did the math right). If you optimize the software in

I'm confused, they say the minimum TDP is 8W. On a 99Wh battery, that's 12.375 hours I believe. My arm cpu phone goes below 5W all the time. I'm not sure 8W is going to cut it.
