This brings back memories. I‘m 32 now and back in the day, we were trading GameBoy roms on floppies because there was nothing else we could use. Essentially we were using them like USB sticks.

I have only a static website with not too much content or traffic, I even use the free oracle VPS that they offer. It took some while to get the hang of ingress rules and opening ports in their interface in addition to the CLI but now it wo

Jokes aside, I’ve tried what feels like almost everything and outside of taking notes with Code this is what I’m doing. Writing it down in a notebook. Is it flawed? Yes. The time I need to learn the medium is zero however.

Seems to be Nextra [0] according to the GitHub repository you can find when following the link to the source in the upper right corner of the website. [0] https://nextra.site/

Thank for answering. I understand that the interpreter situation can be annoying. There is WinPython [0] to circumvent that to some degree. I feel like if I don’t do it the „VSCode and py-file“ way, it’ll be more and more difficult to keep

What is the problem with installing python outside of JupyterLab (or „the regular way“) in your opinion? I‘m teaching Python basics for a few years now and usually we get everything up and running with Python and VSCode in three processes a

Same here. It’s not perfect but most of the time I know roughly what I want to find and visit websites directly anyway. Sometimes I use !g to use on Google instead if I think that Google will provide better results.

Not a hindrance but I work with image data a lot. Usually what comes in is any kind of Numpy array and what comes out at the end is either statistics or a Numpy array. I try to type hint everywhere I can but I feel stupid doing so because a

I definitely need to take a look at how to deploy stuff. I still do it like a caveman - I set everything up locally, ftp it to a server, fiddle around there to make it work and leave it be. I only do static websites though so I’m not sure a

I‘m not working inside of notebooks too much to be honest. I was doing so a while back but working in a modular fashion with other scripts is a pain so I went back to vanilla Python files in VS Code a while back. I’ll still take a look, tha

I‘m not sure since I can’t quite figure out the target audience. Depending on the amounts a person walks every day it might be worth it but I’m on the bike or in the metro most of the time and the claimed 250% increase in speed doesn’t come
