I think plastic is a true miracle invention. Aviation, medicine, technology, there probably isn't an area where we haven't benefited from this great material. Used properly, it's not a problem. What is damaging is the brute u

I agree completely. I'm a big podcast fan, for many opposite reasons I don't use social media. Podcasts remind me of fanzines. Which is a great thing.

I haven't had a smartphone in some time, but I highly recommend AntennaPod which is available of F-Droid. Not only a great podcast app, but it respects your Freedom. It's the only thing I miss about not having a smartphone.

My experience mirrors that of dagw who also replied. I have experience of accessing the internet via hospital and military systems and there is little sophistication to what they block. On the other hand, access via my university accounts s

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you are referring to... / My workstation and laptop are both libreboot'd and running Debian XFCE/i3wm. I am also enthusiastic about Trisquel, but prefer to use Debian.

I read through this article, plus the ones linked in it, but there's very little information regarding what is actually blocked. It's says porn in the title, but there is frequent reference to blocking 'adult content'. I

Yes, as with so many hackers in the GNU/Linux universe I have been painfully waiting all my life for someone to come along and develop a really nice trackpad so I can use it with my tiling window manager, Emacs, and CLI tools.
