I think you missed the entire point of the article? Camping/hiking/exploring outdoors is the exact opposite of doing nothing.

"there were a few very high profile ones" The absolute number (or fraction) implemented in C is less important than the high profile ones. numpy/scipy alone are used in a huge number of projects so if you can't support

Same. I only have a small handful of contacts that use Signal and I'll probably just switch back to using Messages. Secure when possible was a killer feature.

If you're struggling with brushing your teeth, showing up to work or other basic self care, then I don't think the discipline to exercise will manifest itself and it is likely time to speak with a professional.

This advice is repeated a lot, but motivation is fleeting and you just have to make it part of your routine in the same way that brushing your teeth, showering, paying your bills, cleaning your house, and so on are. If it helps, you can thi

I've tried in past but always found the vim modes to be a bit lacking. My last attempt was probably 6 or 7 years ago though so maybe worth another shot!

Yes! Having regional undo is super useful sometimes. I switched from emacs to vim a long time ago, but still miss this feature (although not enough to go searching to find an equivalent vim plug in I guess). Lazy web?

In Canada at least we can buy shell off pumpkin seeds in bulk (salted or plain) but they're usually sold as "pepitas". Whole pumpkin seeds are just called "pumpkin seeds". Both taste good!

Same. Too bad as I recently spent a couple of days motorcycling through Kentucky and there were some beautiful parts of that state.

Things are improving, but non-conformity to the DICOM spec by some vendors is quite common. I regularly encounter DICOM files that don't even have the 128byte preamble or 4byte `DICM` prefix.

The lack of communication from Rogers for an event of this magnitude is quite something. Three tweets[0] with zero useful information so far today. The first one not coming until ~4 hours after the interruption started. [0] https:/

That looks pretty nice too although the angle of it concerns me a bit. I use a standing desk so it looks like it might require me to bend my wrists backwards a bit more than the Orbit. I might give it a try though.

I'm similar. I prefer a symmetrical trackball so I can alternate hands and give the other hand a rest. I have been happily using a Kensington Orbit [1] for many years now. It has a scroll ring surrounding the track ball which I also
