I think what the HN comments are missing is the tech blogs only care about what people have done for us lately. IE people say Yahoo is collapsing because it seems like their potential for innovation is gone, and instead they're moving into

I like to think of it in terms of communication bandwidth. The written word is low bandwidth, but if executed well, theoretically the ideas can be consumed more succinctly. Radio would be the next step up the spectrum, adding implied emotio

Yeah that was my feeling too. I mean it's great to have a one-click application to get up and going, but Twilio is about the easiest API i've ever seen, so it's not exactly rocket science.

Since computers have been around generally for more than 20 years now, I wonder if anyone who started in a programming job when they were 40 are still doing it. More bluntly: Is it possible / fun to be a programmer when you're 60? I imagine

Steve Blank always justified it as saying "you want it to be on your shelf, with notes..." I think it's just a luddite reaction on Steve's part. Apparently he hasn't done enough customer development.

Like. I think this feels more sparse than I'd expect, which is a good thing. Not going to switch from backbone right now though, but I appreciate the experimentation.
