My expectation when I was doing some of this stuff was to expect to have flight kits for folks with a usb soundcard + mic + IFB with in-plastic tips. Theoretically it'd be "plug in the USB soundcard" and go. Points of failure and all of tha

IMO it feels really unnatural. People who touch screens are used to touching to activate, not touching to hover. I don't typically touch to hover, so touching to hover feels like a totally unnecessary second step added every time I want to

PS- Partychat is amazing. If you use Google Apps for your biz, Partychat is like the missing chatroom feature.

It's a huge reason why I constantly miss NYC. Right now I live in suburbia and don't get to walk very often. You don't know what you've got till it's gone... etc.

FWIW, I'm trying to fix this. Anyone else who's passionate about this, WebGL, Quartz Composer or other video graphics technology, get in touch with me.

I'd say journalists are just like investors. They have a lot of people who want their time, and it's difficult to discriminate when you don't have filters. Social proof is one kind of filter... intros are another. AngelList could really act

Are small IPOs good for companies? That's a question that's honestly on my mind. My gut reaction is like "anyone who wants to go public w/o this kind of scrutiny shouldn't," but that's completely from a non-informed place. Anyone have any s

At the risk of being flamed... I actually do think the DMCA is a similar example of how we all flipped out, and how it's actually been pretty good for companies in general. I remember writing a paper (college?) about how evil the DMCA seeme
