Yea i dont think googles distribution has any real threat other than the enterprise monopoly equivalent. And googles path to evolved ad revenue is clear in Veo3. Effective ads will be personalized videos - Google owns the infrastructure and

This is interesting actually. And reminds me of something vaguely - a book or something that describes how human attention and the things we see are highly optimized by evolution. We often miss a lot of details in reality due to this.

Thank you to those who referenced kanboard in this thread. I got it running and it is sweet: $ docker pull kanboard/kanboard:latest $ docker run -d --name kanboard -p 8080:80 -e PLUGIN_INSTALLER=true kanboard/kanboard:latest (admi

It's not just API calls though. It's often parallel processing of I/O (network, filesystem) and computational tasks like testing and compiling code.

There is something here about the native filesystem and tooling. & some type of insight into what agentic software engineering will look like - I mostly feel like an orchestrator, or validator in the terminal window next to Claude Code

For large codebases and task management, you can empower Claude Code with a simple filesystem framework. https://x.com/backnotprop/status/1929020702453100794 It sees everything it needs to in one pass, no extra re

I do it indirectly. Gemini is my architecture goto. Claude Code for execution. It's just way more efficient to feed large portions of codebase at once to Gemini, pump out a plan and feed it to Claude Code. https://x.com/

It is completely reasonable and often - very - useful to evaluate and interpret instructions with LLMs. You're stuck on the anthropomorphize semantics, but that wasn't the purpose of the exercise.

There really isn't a good tool-calling model in open source, and I don't think the problem is fine-tuning.

15 years ago it wasn't the norm to spend all day at a desk in your home. Especially after a rapid induction to isolated living over a ~2year period; during the midst of cultural revolutions that pitted most young men in these forums in

I wouldn't ask for 100 different versions of the same feature from each of them. 1 agent is supposed to be powerful with proper context and engineering design decisions in mind - whether UI or backend. Asking 3 different agents to do t

I can import my entire codebase to Gemini and get more than a nuanced similarity score in terms of agent guidance. What’s the differentiator or plan for arbitrary query matching? Latency? If you think about it - not really a huge issue. Spe

I kept wondering why Cursor was indexing my codebase, it was never clear. Anyway context to me enables a lot more assurance and guarantees. RAG never did. My favorite workflow right now is: - Create context with https://github

Context and “memory” (not really a fan of this term and how industry uses it) are actually complex to manage for power users including humans and agents. While it may sound counterintuitive, the agents of today aren’t truly autonomous in th

AI as a use case doesn’t make sense to me. You’re using AI to create a transpilation of whatever modality. It’s a wasted step if the purpose is to feed back into AI.
