There's some weird opinions coming from mostly DHH. My personal take is that they're blatantly racist, but everyone can have their own Here's some fun facts: - DHH enforced a "No Politics at Work" policy. - DHH wrot

The average HN comment section has kind of become a new reddit and I'm kind of pessimistic about it. I see the same low effort comments lately, and I moved away from Reddit for that very reason. Maybe these type of questions just attra

Devex is about picking the "right" tooling, which sounds obvious and generic, but it still seems like not everyone get what that means. As long as you've thought far enough in the future, you'll be fine

Interesting! have u taken a look at safeql? https://safeql.dev/ I'm personally not a fan of query builders for SQL. it's already a defined language, why are we trying to move away from queries? On top of that Safe

I feel like the last point "development speed" is dependent on all previous points. When I do a new project I always try to focus on a tech stack where - if i need to replace a part - i could easily do so. All these components are

I haven't tried Clerk, but if the money spent actually makes things easier, then it seems like a good fit for certain projects. Better Auth didn't take more than an hr to setup in my repo, which is already pretty bare-bones to beg

No, fameworks are relatively opinionated towards the goal the creator had, which is usually in a README. They're all tools that need more context to decide on when you use them. For example, in my use case (SaaS) I focus on something t
