for what it's worth, it didn't seem odd to me. I guess the missing article and phrase indicate it's a verb. "So AI can ... developers" is begging for a verb, there is no room for an adjective there.

I disliked the pedantic nature of stackoverflow like the next guy but this seems like a naive take. SO solved a problem, that problem is now gone

It's almost as if it depends on the context and there isn't a simplistic bumper sticker approach.

Sorry but as a southern Neighbor you are painting a picture of Europe 20 years ago. Taxes these days keep up the ponzi scheme of european pensions and an influx of low skilled migrants that are not incentivized to work. There is a a lot of

OP's point (imo valid) relates to the private sphere, and how we as normal humans are more afraid of outing our sexual fears/desires because of the possibility of them being amplified on the internet. And you somehow think that mi

He didn't even realize (and apparently doesn't care) that portions of the code were attributed to another author. > Here's my question: why did the files that you submitted name Mark Shinwell as the author? > Beats me.

Likely. But the fact the last few iterations have all been about flair, it seems we are witnessing the regression of OpenAI into the typical fiefdom of product owners. Which might indicate they are out of options on pushing LLMs beyond thei

This new package is about "removing regulation", specifically GDPR. Which let's be honest has not achieved its intended target. Google/Apple/etc can easily afford to break GDPR and get caught up in fines while as a

It seems OP did it in ketosis, and then slowly experimented with adding healthy carbs back in limited amounts. Unless otherwise mentioned, I assume your friend added a bunch of eggs to his existing diet, which is comparing apples and orange

I was questioning if OP was a karma farming bot, have a look at their profile. It's a lot of these odd one liner questions. From the perspective of a useful thread, I agree with you

I truly don't understand this on a tech forum. You have 6000 karma, is this a bot interaction to promote votes? How does searching "Helsinki MOOC java" not immediately give you the result you are after?

less and less, with the new release cycles. What you get is either really old (Java 8 stuck on something nasty like weblogic). Or companies running either cutting edge or LTS.

The whole point of omarchy is to give you great defaults, and then it being linux everything is completely customizable. Which with ChatGpt/Grok is trivial these days for even a non linux native.

Did you read the article? OP doesn't care about bots figuring it out. It's about the compute needed to do the work. It's quite an interesting piece, I feel like you projected something completely different onto it. Your point

You don’t need to feel offended on behalf of LLMs, they are tremendously useful. But not above criticism. There is a belief being peddled that AGI is right around the corner and we can get there by just scaling up LLMs. Papers like this are
