iOS 15 Safari is the tipping point in terms of mass reach and awfulness. Scrolling an element (not the page), to view more of that element, shows the address bar over it. ?!

Maintaining productivity while WFH comes at a huge personal cost for some people: family, lack of space, destroyed life/work balance etc.

Outrageous. Shut it down and come back in 2 years or so.

This is terrible for accessibility. Please just use semantic HTML and your web will be usable on 10yo devices and unknown devices 10 years in the future.

Yes. Using laggy apps, I don't feel like working, it feels like a struggle, hence frustration.

Abstract away the core of the product (data, connectivity etc) behind an internal interpreter, which is the same on all platforms and connects to native UI.

Recently there are posts from designers about bringing back blurred/gradient edges of scrollable content. Hopefully the trend gets momentum (pun not intended).

How can an organisation start a Web/Desktop project which can never ever be _good_ (not to mention great) and frustrate and annoy its customers all the time? If native is a mess, how is outsourcing the mess to the user justified?

So no native. It is terribly slow. 1-2 seconds to switch tabs. Why are people tolerating this? Not nitpicking, it really is a disaster.

Good to see simplification of static WP hosting.

Agree about the bugs, some of them are ridiculous. Every browser needs to fix bugs instead of adding new features. Firefox on Mac is not a viable alternative, because it's too slow.

That’s the funniest part: the oldest style is still the best.

UI is a train wreck, but on the bright side, it has all that sophisticated telemetry to improve the UX.

There are written differences. HK, Taiwan = Traditional, Mainland = Simplified.

WFH in a small flat and a child is much harder than the office. The commute provides time for podcasts, music and gradual transfer from work to family.

Of course they should investigate, but journalists need to point out this is one in a million, much lower than the normal rate.
